Telefonica, Tech Mahindra and others join hands with Hyperledger

 Telefonica the Spanish telecommunication corporation has entered into a partnership with Hyperledger which is a subsidiary of the Linux foundation. The partnership aims to develop a targeted service that will help customers and their service provider with the new technology of blockchain. This joint alliance was made public dated 21st November. The alliance formalizes the relationship that began this year and that has in trust developed the first product of Telephone based Hyperledger Fabric one of the solutions that was implemented using Bitcoin.

On this association Jose Luis Nunez, responsible for the Competence Centre of Blockchain of Telefonica says that the key word is confidence that blockchain can offer to the industrial sector. At its discretion the implementation of the proposals with blockchain in the field of business will only be successful if it done in an open and collaborative manner. It is affirmed committed to build an ecosystem that provide confidence to join the Hyperledger so that they can create a sustainable business model which will help them keep satisfied customers. According to one of the executive on Twitter open innovation and collaboration between firms and industries is the only way of dealing with blockchain.

Telefonica has set an agreement with Hyperledger which is a confirmation of the trend that is set up by large multinational corporations around the world wanting to switch and adopt networks and integrate into the production process in a collaborative way. In addition to Telefónica, Hyperledger also announced that it welcomed its community to BlocWatch, BondEvalue, Ledger, Leopard, LimeChain, Tech Mahindra and Vonechain Technology. Other companies who are already working in Hyperledger are IBM, Cisco, American Express, Consensys, Intel, NEC, SAP, Hitachi, and J. P Morgan, among others.
