Also known as the Onion router. The router uses “onion routing” technique which encrypts data into multiple layers and is decrypted as the messages traverse from one node to the next. It has been developed by the US government with security as its top priority, and as such, no such vulnerability exists. It is most commonly used by journalists to hide their original location.
