Three armed riders track two fugitives across a desolate valley when strange drifting webs begin filling the sky. The floating masses carry giant venomous spiders that attack men and horses alike, triggering panic, betrayal, and death. Forced to flee, the ruthless leader survives only by abandoning his companions, then discovers smoke in the distance—the fugitives may still be alive.
