Second Life of Hedon

A dying traveler recounts terrifying recurring dreams where he lives as Hedon, a future political leader who abandons duty for love in a utopian Capri. As global tensions erupt into devastating futuristic war, he and his lover flee across a collapsing world. She is killed in battle, and he dies defending her body, only to awaken haunted by grief and unable to separate dream from reality.
