China Grants Exemptions for Nexperia Car Chips After EU Tensions

Nexperia is based in the Netherlands but is owned by a Chinese company named Wingtech. Wingtech sends its chips from the Netherlands to China for the finishing touches and then sends the chips to various countries. In October of this year, the Dutch government took control of Nexperia. China then announced that it would block exports of the chip.
