Among the Unknowing

A shipwreck survivor dives for lost gold but is attacked by natives and barely escapes. Using his eerie diving suit, he tricks them into believing he’s a god and survives for months. While maintaining the illusion, he plots to recover treasure, but a salvage ship ruins everything. He escapes with little gold, reflecting on survival, luck, and missed fortune.
