LetterLens is an educational AI prototype designed to simplify government correspondence, such as NHS, council, or HMRC letters. Built with Jetpack Compose, CameraX, Ktor, and ML Kit OCR, the app scans letters, extracts key details (what it’s about, when it’s happening, what to do), and presents them in plain English. Everything runs on-device for privacy. The result: a 5-minute read becomes a 10-second summary—reducing stress and making bureaucracy easier to navigate.
