Introducing Provable Randomness in Beldex Consensus with Verifiable Random Functions

Verifiable Random Functions (VRFs) were first introduced over two decades ago in 1999. VRFs are at the center of modern blockchain networks, ensuring fair, secure, and tamper-proof operations. Beldex will introduce verifiable random functions in its consensus to enhance unpredictability, verifiability, and randomness in validator and block leader selection.
