Data-Driven Ranking Reveals Where Privacy Risks Actually Live in Java and JavaScript Code

This study presents a data-based ranking of privacy-relevant methods in Java and JavaScript by analyzing real open-source applications, revealing that only a small fraction of code is responsible for most personal data processing and privacy risk.
