Cyber Insurance Models Show Reliability Gains for Power Grids Under Epidemic-Style Attacks

Using long-horizon simulations on a benchmark power grid, this study shows that cooperative cyber insurance—especially Shapley-based premiums—can reduce risk, insolvency, and outages under epidemic cyberattacks.
