What Strain Is Lemon Haze?
Â
This much loved sativa-dominant hybrid smells and tastes just like the name suggests - lemony! More lemony than Lemony Snicket in fact! If you enjoy citrus, you're going to enjoy this one! It was created by crossbreeding Lemon Skunk and Silver Haze, with the end result being a pretty potent strain which is 70% sativa dominant. It's not entirely clear who first produced Lemon Haze, but we're certainly glad they did, and it's quickly become a favorite for many!
When growing, expect medium to large sized buds that tend to be quite circular in shape. The buds are usually fluffy and dense and a mix of different shades of green, with some orange thrown in for good measure. There is often a subtle yellow glow on show, meaning the lemon name isn't solely focused on the taste and aroma. The flowering time is fairly typical for similar hybrids at around 8 to 9 weeks for indoor growth.
Lemon Haze boasts a THC content of around 18-25%, although the CBD content is almost zero. It's a great strain for helping to combat nausea, and indeed the mental focus and relaxation properties it can offer make it popular with those with symptoms of ADHD. A mood boost is a common effect also, so it can be an aid for mild anxiety and depression, even if it's not the leader in this category.
