Kentucky Organization: Summer Camp Educating Teens on Dark Web & More


Today’s internet possesses a maximum storage of various posts that encircles the dark web, blockchain and Cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, many people do not even understand what these are and how might they be affecting their day to day lives. People are ignoring these topics as they have absolutely no knowledge on the topics. Thus, to eradicate such a practice, the Technology Association of Louisville Kentucky (TALK) has organized a summer camp for the teens to keep them in the loop. The initiative was taken to ensure that the local teenagers understand the nitty-gritty of the dark web, blockchain and Cryptocurrency. In July 2018, Technology Association of Louisville Kentucky planned to hold the first Cryptocurrency summer camp for the high school students which intended to be a week long summer camp.

All of the discussions in the summer camp will revolve around the blockchain, dark web and Cryptocurrency. It is believed that this kind of drive will provide the participants with relevant insights into the dynamics of the various aspects that surrounds the cryptocurrencies like the Cryptocurrency trading, mining, ICOs, altcoins and smart contracts. It will also provide knowledge on various matters of law and cybersecurity. The camp owners believes that it is of utmost importance for the teens to know what is legal and what is not as the federal and the state laws are concerned.

The camp has been decide to held from 9th of July to 13th of July at the Crypto Consulting Group where there will be a matriculation ceremony held as well. The schedule for the camps include Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm while the Friday event will be held from 11 am to 1:30 pm. The charges allotted per head is $300 where all the high school students and as well as the first year college students can participate.
