Suspects Having Connection to Murder of Russian Investigator Arrested

In the last month, a proceeding of a case that marked a breakthrough was the case of Yevgenia Shishkina, the chief investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was murdered in cold blood at a private parking lot in her residence in Moscow. On the same date, two of the alleged culprits who were associated with the murder of the said person were jailed by the authorities and mandated by the Basmanny Court of Moscow. As per the  Russian investigator, the assassination for hire was carried out through the dark web. The leading suspects of the murder case who have been detained are Abdulaziz Abdulazizov, a 19 year old student from the Social and Medical Institute of St. Petersburg along with his alleged accomplice and a 17 year old teenager whose name was not mentioned in public.

Yevgenia was a well established senior investigator of the Russian ministry of the Internal Affairs who worked in cases that involved fraudulent crimes like the distribution of the illegally gained transport tickets and cases of drug trafficking. A chain of the events led to her murder in October 2018 that has started with the first alleged accused who is a 10th grader in the St. Petersburg whose identity was not revealed. The BBC News of Russia refers the suspect as “A.G.”.

The suspect had sent out an application call on the dark web for a quick job. The website has been facilitating various drug related trades though it had some strict rules against the firearm tradeoffs. The 17 year old suspect was the alleged mediator of the operation and his purpose was served as soon as he was able to reach out and find out a worthy candidate for the job vacancy on the dark web. Dark Web is truly dark as these kind of cases are quite normal these days.
