A Lincoln based woman has been pled guilty of selling illegal Prescription narcotics through the dark web marketplace, the business that operated from the home. The one pled guilty has been identified as 59 year old Monique Jodoin and has been booked for seven counts of attempt to distribute a controlled substance, two counts of the money laundering and five counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance as announced by United States Attorney, Aaron L. Weisman. Jodoin has been scheduled to be sentenced by the U.S. District Court Judge John J. McConnell Jr., on 20th of August 2019.
Jodoin’s home based business is known by “Tabletmagic” that sold illicit Prescription narcotics through the most prominent dark web marketplace, Dream Market. All of these details have been admitted by the accused. Going back to 4th of May 2017, the Tabletmagic account has listed 1,700 transactions where the Prescription narcotics offered are OxyContin, hydrocodone, oxycodeone, Subutex, Suboxone, Adderall, Ritalin, Morphine, Vyvanse, Xanax, and Zolphidem.
According to the court information that has been presented in October 2017, the postmaster of Manville, R.I. Post Office had alerted USPIS agents that an individual (Jodoin who was later identified) was shipping a large amount of the click-n-ship parcels to the people around the country. The Postmaster has also carefully noted that the name and address of the click-n-ship parcels contained name and address labels that were fictitious and the woman delivering the parcels at the post office was not the same person as listed to be the sender.
The USPIS agents have conducted an investigation where some of the packages shipped by the accused have been seized and searched following the court orders and search warrants. The packages contained various controlled substances. His home was also searched.
