Crypto Coin Exchanges: What Is Happening Right Now?


The majority of the top cryptocurrencies are lately trading in red, with Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) down around 3% in the past 24 hours. The global crypto market capitalization is currently at $1.51 trillion, which is a sharp decline of 3.40% over the previous day. The world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has dropped as much as 7% to $35,431.15 in the crypto coin exchanges on the 18th of June 2021 at 8:02 pm GMT, as Reuters have reported.

The cryptocurrency that is directly linked to the Ethereum blockchain, Ether, has also fallen massively up to 8.66% to $2,165.68. Additionally, the acceptance of cryptocurrencies and crypto coin exchanges seem to rise. 

The Top Story US House Republican is the first national party to take a step forward in accepting donations in cryptocurrency. The US’ national Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) and the United States House Republicans’ campaign arm has revealed that it will accept donations in the digital currency. Furthermore, the organization announced that it was the very first national party committee to receive contributions through cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC). They believe that this approach will support the Republican candidates in the midterm elections next year.

WazirX, in focus with the other Crypto coin exchanges, has been accused of helping in the drug trade, a report mentions. There was a list of controversies revolving around this. Additionally, the report says that the Binance-owned exchange is rigorously embroiled in. On the 17th of June 2021, the report mentioned that Makarand Pardeep Adivirkar, known as India’s underground drug circuit or the “crypto king”, has been paying for drugs using Bitcoin on the dark web. He was using various other platforms, including WazirX, as a wallet in this regard.

The NASCAR driver named Landon Cassill will be the first to be entirely paid in cryptocurrency. The payment will be in a sponsorship deal with Voyager that begins at the Nashville Superspeedway by this weekend. Voyager is a cryptocurrency brokerage firm that has reached a 19-race deal to sponsor the driver in the Xfinity Series in his JD Motorsports entry. Cassill will receive the Payment from Voyager in Litecoin (LTC). Litecoin has been quite avid in the crypto coin exchanges for several years. 

Cassill also stated that Voyager is releasing the payment at the market rate for the sponsorship. However, the funds will be distributed in cryptocurrency. He noted that the payment is a portfolio of the digital assets that comprise both Bitcoin and Litecoin priced at the market rates, as the report mentions.
