Nicholas Merten the creator and host of the YouTube channel Data Dash in an interview with the news outlet back in August 2019 revealed that the value of the altcoins is on the rise when it comes to value gain. According to him, the last two altcoin cycle happened way back in 2017 when the Cryptocurrency was launched. The price that year was as high as 20,000 dollars and the second cycle the Bitcoin value rose to 1,100 dollars.

The data showed that the price of the Bitcoin rose from a low of 4000 dollars to a massive high of 13000 dollars.
