Access to Internet Hotspot’s Hacked Accounts Are Sold on Dark Web Markets

Darknet markets are seeing the extreme sale of the hacked Xfinity account details that can be utilized to access the Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots, On Demand and TV for as little as Bitcoin worth $5. The hacked accounts have been spotted on the darknet markets during the last few weeks where AlphaBay, the most reputable darknet markets on the dark web attracted the most of the vendors. Many of the vendors have taken up this opportunity to post some of the fake listings for quick and the mouth-watering deals on some of the darknet markets while most of them have been legitimate to the buyers. The high demand for the hacked accounts has reportedly drawn in a whopping number of sellers who now has to find out alternative ways to defeat their rivals in the not so regulated darknet markets.

Some of the dealers have also extended their helping hands way beyond just to ensure that their customers are taken care of even after the transaction is finalized. As soon as the transaction amount in Bitcoin has been received from the buyer, the details of the Xfinity accounts are sent instantly for the account to be tested utilizing a nearby Xfinity Wi-Fi access point. The dealer expects that the buyer must revert to them stating if the details have worked.

If the account details are not working, then the buyer must be given a choice to accept the other set of the details. That being said, most of the dealers do not offer refunds for the accounts that do not work due to the lack of the Wi-Fi access points in the buyer’s locality. As for the interested buyers, the anonymity of the darknet markets ensures that one can reach the dealers in an easy and straightforward manner till they are willing to meet the price.
