A Spanish platform, 2gether, has announced the launch of its prepaid Visa debit card that permits the holders to pay for the goods and the services utilizing the Cryptocurrency. The customers will be able to use the debit card to make payments in Euro or via other Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin Core, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, EOS, Ethereum, Stellar and Litecoin. In a statement, the company has revealed that the debit card instantly converts the Cryptocurrency to the fiat currency.
The users within the 19 member Eurozone economic bloc can use the card without paying any fees. It is believed that with its prepaid debit card, it is solving problems that are associated with making the purchases using the virtual currencies. 2gether has explained that the latest development will permit it to incorporate the Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies that will assist with the financial management, investment decisions and product choices.
At the same time, the Mexico-based Polispay has cancelled its Mastercard Cryptocurrency debit card for the users residing outside of the South American country. The company has also blamed its Mexican card provider for violating the Mastercard rules and regulation. A statement released as on 18th of March stated that Mastercard has never given them the permission to sell the cards outside of Mexico and that the Mastercard company was not aware of the fact. Soon after this, with immediate effect, Polispay was withdrawn from the act of issuing prepaid Crypto debit cards outside of Mexico. People possessing the Mastercards outside Mexico will not be able to make any transactions using the same as the Mastercard will not validate any sort of transactions outside of Mexico. Until further notice, the Polispay deposits, shifts and the new as well as the existing card orders have been suspended.
